Mindfulness

Mindfulness can help clients notice their thoughts non-judgmentally and compassionately and become less fixated on them. At Mills Gosse Psychology, several of our therapists incorporate elements of mindfulness into their treatment practice, and we welcome clients who seek us out for a mindfulness-based approach.

We are happy to share a little about how we approach mindfulness as part of our overall orientation:

  • Mindfulness is a critical technique, but it is also one among many we employ

  • At Mills | Gosse Psychology, we do not view psychological treatment as purely a technique.

  • Our treatment philosophy cannot be reduced to one or even a collection of techniques. If you are considering therapy, we encourage you to learn more about what to expect from that link.

The act of seeking therapy is a valuable and constructive step towards healing and change. Our therapists are deeply committed to tailor the experience to your needs and goals.
