Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a rational approach to examining one's thought processes and patterns of cognition to manage negative inner experiences and find better ways of living rationally, coping with emotions, and initiating real behavioural change.

At Mills Gosse Psychology, all therapists are trained in CBT and welcome clients seeking us out for CBT.

At the same time, we are happy to share a little about how we approach CBT as part of our overall orientation:

  • CBT is a critical technique, but it is also one among many we employ

  • At Mills | Gosse Psychology, we do not view psychological treatment purely as a technique.

  • Our treatment philosophy cannot be reduced to one or even a collection of techniques. If you are considering therapy, we encourage you to learn more about what to expect from that link.

The act of seeking therapy is a valuable and constructive step towards healing and change. Our therapists are deeply committed to tailor the experience to your needs and goals.
