Addictions Recovery

Mills Psychology is pleased to announce a new cooperative initiative with Edgewood Health Network and Bellwood Health Services. Edgewood specializes in recovery from addictions and concurrent psychological disorders including inpatient residential treatment for drug abuse and alcoholism, addiction and PTSD for military and first responders, problem gambling, sexual compulsion, eating disorders and addiction, and withdrawal management/detox. The programs are typically 6 weeks of hospital residential treatment utilizing medical management, individual and group therapy, family program involvement, wellness programs, and post-recovery continuing care. Mills Psychology staff may be seen for outpatient psychotherapy during the post-recovery and relapse prevention phase once clients are discharged from the residential program, or when residential treatment is not an option. Clients can utilize the support of quality therapists in their own community without having to travel to the main outpatient clinic in Toronto.
